MSP centered, ASIS equidistant from table.
Central ray
Midway between ASIS and symphysis pubis.
IR placement
35x43 cm crosswise.

Tech pearls

  • Use sandbags to maintain internal rotation.
  • Suspected hip fx? Internal rotation contraindicated on that side.
